Tailor, not mall
Get one shirt or kurta stitched by a local tailor from fabric you chose yourself. Attend the fitting like it's a ceremony.
How to do it
- Buy the fabric yourself from a cloth shop. Check how much the tailor needs, usually 2 to 2.5 metres for a shirt.
- Get measured and agree on a delivery date and price in advance.
- Go back for the fitting, ask for fixes if something is off, and wear it that week.
