Passenger train lottery
Board a slow passenger train out of the city, get off at a village station you've never heard of, eat whatever exists near the platform, return by evening.
How to do it
- Check passenger and DEMU train timings from Bengaluru stations, and pick one that has a return option that evening.
- Buy an unreserved ticket and get off at a small station you do not know.
- Eat near the platform and walk around for a bit. Be back on the platform well before the return train.
- Note the last return time before you leave.
