The blinking weighing machine
Find one of those old flashing-light weighing machines outside a railway station or temple, pay the coin, keep the ticket in your wallet like a talisman.
How to do it
- Railway stations, bus stands and temple entrances are the best places to look. Many machines have been removed, so expect to check a few.
- Carry coins. Some machines only take a particular coin.
- Step on, wait for the card to drop out, and keep it in your wallet.
- If the printed weight looks wrong, that is part of the charm.
